Parallel parking and driving in different weather conditions has always been my son's short-fall when it comes to driving. I am fed up with always replacing the back and side lights of my car that are always broken every time he parks wrong. That is why I decided to go for a more educative and practical way of improving his driving skills. I enrolled him on a driving simulator training course. After a couple of tries on the driving simulator his driving skills especially in safely parking the car have greatly improved. Furthermore, my son can now do it on the road with ease and confidence after passing his driving exam. The driving simulator provided him with a simple and fun driving experience devoid of the dangers that a novice driver may encounter on the road. Just like a game, he tried it at home and it gave him confidence to take his driving exam. It is loaded with features with real world functionalities like duo-carriage ways. It also metes out penalties on drivers who contravene traffic rules just like it happens in a real-life situation. Different weather and environmental factors have been designed to put the driver on high alert. I personally noticed that he gave extra attention to his surroundings as he drove within different scenes and situations. With the help of the driving simulator, I feel he is well prepared for our vacation trip to Europe seeing as he can now also drive on the left hand side of the road, just like in London! Gone are the days where fuel prices and fear of accidents held me back from teaching my son how to drive.
